The teamThe teams from St Mary’s Court and The New Deanery care homes  in Bocking near Braintree are celebrating having reached the final stages at two prestigious care industry awards in an impressive 10 categories.

But that’s not all: Sonnet Care Homes, which runs them, has been shortlisted for the Care Employer Award at The Great British Care Awards, East of England Region, bringing the ‘finalists’ tally to 11.

Julia Clinton, Chief Executive of Sonnet Care Homes, said the achievements are “beyond our wildest dreams”.

Julia said:

Last year, we were blown away to get four finalists across the two competitions, but this year has been outstanding. We are delighted to have had so many of the team progress so far.

“Both competitions receive huge numbers of nominations and competition organisers have stressed to us what an achievement it is to get so many people through to the finals, particularly given the high standard of this year’s entries.

“To say that we are incredibly proud of our achievement thus far is an understatement.”
